NCAA Tournament 2011: Kemba Walker, UConn Looking to Dispatch Cincinnati

NCAA Tournament 2011 Wraps Up Saturday Schedule with UConn vs. Cincinnati

The UConn Huskies stumbled a little bit in the month of February, but they definitely seem to be on a roll now. After capturing the Big East tourney by winning five games in five days, the Huskies easily topped Bucknell on Thursday, and will now try to move on the Sweet 16 once again.

To get there, the Huskies will have to get past the Cincinnati Bearcats, who are fresh off a big win over Missouri. The game will tip off at 9:40 p.m. ET, and will be televised on TBS.

At this point, we all know what beating UConn is all about. Stopping Kemba Walker appears to be impossible, but limiting him is definitely a good idea. The problem is that he's been as hot as ever in UConn's current stretch, and is coming off a game against Bucknell in which he nearly recorded a triple-double.

Because the Bearcats aren't exactly one of the more prolific scoring teams in the field, merely hoping to match wits with Walker and the Huskies is obviously not the best idea. Instead, if they can force the Huskies into a tough shooting night, as they did against Missouri, they should have the advantage. However, this is something the Bearcats didn't do in their first meeting with UConn, as the Huskies shot 50 percent from the field on their way to a 67-59 victory.

Prediction: I have UConn in my Final Four, and I'm not about to back off of that now. This one goes to the Huskies.
