If the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" video taught us anything, it's that the 1970s police detective show aesthetic is the comedic gift that keeps on giving. And that short-sleeved dress shirts and horrible ties look great when sliding across the hood of a Ford Crown Victoria.
Kudos to Easton Hockey for this wonderful new commercial campaign featuring New Jersey Devils star Zach Parise as Detective Zach Parise and his EQ50 2011 Easton Skates as his partner "Wheels."
Have to believe plummeting over a cliff in a fiery car crash isn't necessarily a good thing for knee injury rehab. Or cups of coffee.
Our only complaint: How can there not be a proper 1970s cop show mustache on either Parise or the skates?
