Post-draft Podcast: Charles Davis, NFL Network

As we did prior to the draft, we wanted to bring some of the best prospect analysts out there to Shutdown Corner via podcast to talk about just what's going on with this year's crop of college players. Now that the draft is a done deal for 2011, it's time to talk to some of the very talented folks who were kind enough to give us some of their time leading up the extravaganza.

We begin with Charles Davis, the former Tennessee cornerback who has become one of the best in the business as a broadcaster and draft analyst. We were blown away by Charles' knowledge in our previous podcast with him, and here's the encore.

We talk about all the big stories, like Cam Newton's future, who on earth is going to block the combination of Nick Fairley and Ndamukong Suh, and whether the Falcons made any sense with their trade up to get Julio Jones. But because we are dealing with a personnel expert here, we were also happy to go deep and ask Charles about the best late-round guys, and who walked away with the biggest bargains.

This is our longest podcast yet — nearly an hour — so sit back and enjoy. And make sure to watch Charles on the NFL Network's Total Access, Path to the Draft, and Top 100 shows.
