It's Draft Day and the 2011 NFL Draft will begin tonight at 8 P.M. EST. The Baltimore Ravens hold the 26th overall pick in the draft and here's my prediction on what they will do with it.
The Ravens have had one of the most dominant defenses in the NFL for a while now, but its time to get younger in order to continue that for the future. They started by taking a few guys in last year's draft, and now its time to work on the secondary.
That's why I have them taking Colorado CB Jimmy Smith.
Talent wise, he's comparable to Prince Amukamara so why isn't he going in the Top 15? Well, the one knock at Jimmy Smith are his character issues.
But when you're on a team with veteran leaders like Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, you better be in line because they won't tolerate it.
This is a dream scenario for not only the Ravens but Smith as well.
