NBA Playoffs 2011: Dwight Howard and the Magic Face a Must-Win Game Tonight

Orlando goes into the series in Atlanta down two games to one in the best of seven series. Very few teams have ever come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the series. However, for the Orlando Magic, this game might not just mean their season, it might change the franchise forever.

Dwight Howard has made it known that he wants to win. He just doesn't want to win in general, he wants to win now. Howard has done everything he can do to lead the Magic to a series win over a team they swept last season. Howard has scored 100 points, grabbed 53 rebounds and blocked five shots in the three games versus the Hawks. The rest of the Orlando Magic team has only scored 140 points. Howard is also shooting 67 percent from the floor. The rest of the team 29.9 percent.

If the Magic want to have any chance of winning this series and keeping Dwight Howard in an Orlando Magic uniform for an extended period of time, someone is going to have to step up tonight. Jameer Nelson and Brandon Bass have put up acceptable numbers, but the two overpaid trade pieces Hedo Turkoglu and Gilbert Arenas will have to step up sometime if the Magic are going to have any hope of winning this or the next series.

Tonight for the Orlando Magic, it's not just the series in jeopardy but the very future of the team. Will someone step up and give Howard some help? Please?
