Has Vince Young's absence created a schism among the Titans?

At least one Titan has described the Titans' locker room as "divided" over the issue of Vince Young vs. Jeff Fisher.

The Titans are 0-3 since Young stormed out of the locker room after being injured and benched in a Week 11 loss to the Redskins. He said at the time that he wasn't walking out on his team, but was walking out on head coach Jeff Fisher. Young hasn't been with the team since. Fisher hasn't exactly been conciliatory in that time, either.

Wednesday, again via Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseean, Titans tight end Bo Scaife says the locker room might not be whole.

“He is supposed to be the franchise quarterback and he already feels like he didn’t have the support of the staff,” Scaife said. “So I am sure his feelings might have been hurt a little bit (about being asked to leave). But I am sure he knows why he hasn’t been here and coach does too.”

[...]

“I know his teammates definitely want him here,” Scaife said. “The more I think about that, I guess the locker room might be divided up. But I know all the guys on my side (offense), we all love VY.”

And now, handy charts illustrating the difference between the Titans with Vince Young, and the Titans without Vince Young.

Obviously, statistics aren't perfect, and there are a lot of variables that go into them. Also, even if the numbers did prove that Vince Young is clearly the Titans best option at quarterback, it doesn't prove that anyone is, on moral grounds, in the right or in the wrong.

But if you're a Titans player, and you're trying to figure out which side of the schism you want to be on, and winning football games is a factor for you, then those numbers might come in handy.
