NFL Playoffs 2011: Can Aaron Rodgers and the Packers Keep Rolling Against Bears?

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are on a heck of a roll right now. After fighting tooth and nail to make the playoffs, the Packers proceeded to dispatch the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons in convincing fashion.

But in Sunday's NFC Championship Game at the Chicago Bears (3:00 ET on FOX), the Packers have their work cut out for them.

For one, Soldier Field is not exactly inviting this time of year, and the Bears showed last weekend against Seattle that this is something that doesn't limit them at all.

Moreover, after torching two relatively weak defenses in Philly in Atlanta, Rodgers now has to conquer the best unit in the NFC. And he didn't do so hot against the Bears in two regular season meetings, throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions.

As for the Bears, they now have the benefit of knowing that Jay Cutler is more than capable of handling the playoff stage, as he was money against the Seahawks last week. The Packers should be able to rattle him with their beastly pass rush, but Cutler is still the kind of guy who can successfully improvise big plays.

Prediction: On balance, this game just looks like one that could end up being a low-scoring slug fest. The Bears will more than hold their own, but I just think the Packers are too hot right now. They'll take it 17-14.
