No. 1 Star: Chris Osgood, Detroit Red Wings
The 10th goalie in NHL history to win 400 games, Osgood earned it with a 46-save performance that included 23 stops in the second period. Detroit defeated the Colorado Avalanche, 4-3, as Niklas Kronwall scored a power-play goal in overtime after Matt Duchene tied the game at 17:24 of the third with his second of the game. Nicklas Lidstrom had a 4-point night.
No. 2 Star: Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles Kings
The Kings netminder stopped 24 of 24 shots as LA defeated the San Jose Sharks, 4-0. It was his 12th career shutout. He entered the game with a 1.93 GAA, second best in the NHL.
No. 3 Star: Matt Gilroy, New York Rangers
The Rangers had plenty of offense in their 7-2 victory over the New York Islanders, but second-year defenseman Gilroy's performance was a highlight. He opened the scoring and tallied what would be the game-winning goal in the second period, his first goals since Nov. 23, 2009.
Honorable mention: Steve Mason made 37 saves and two more in the shootout to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a 4-3 victory over the Minnesota Wild. Rick Nash had two assists and a shootout goal. Cal Clutterbuck scored a game-tying goal in the third for the Wild. ... David Krejci had two goals while Tim Thomas stopped 32 shots and three more in the shootout to give the Boston Bruins a 3-2 victory at the Florida Panthers. Mike Santorelli scored goal No. 10 in the loss. ... The Calgary Flames received goals from five different players in their 5-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres. Jarome Iginla had a key second-period goal; Alex Kotalik's first of the season proved to be the game-winner. ... Finally, the alley-oop pass from Anze Kopitar to Dustin Brown was a thing of beauty.

Dishonorable mention: The Blue Jackets weren't given a power play while the Wild were given seven; which means it probably wasn't the right night for the ref to mock the home fans. ... Dwayne Roloson faced 52 shots as the Islanders rewarded his "player of the week" award with a terrible defensive effort. ... Colorado was 1-for-7 on the power play.
