Sunday's Three Stars: Five points for Perry; Dubi's Howe Trick

No. 1 Star: Corey Perry, Anaheim Ducks

Scoring on a penalty shot, on the power play and at even-strength, Perry recorded his first career hat trick as the Ducks routed the Minnesota Wild 6-2. Perry also added two assists on both of Ryan Getzlaf's goals to complete a five-point night.  Jonas Hiller made 20 saves for his third win in four starts and Bobby Ryan scored a goal and assisted on two others. Ryan's goal was also thanks to Mikko Koivu and his stick.

No. 2 Star: Henrik Sedin, Vancouver Canucks

With Roberto Luongo needing to just make 11 saves on the night, the Sedin twins took over the game as Henrik scored what would be the game-winner midway through the second period after having assisted on Alexandre Burrows' opening goal in the first. Daniel assisted on both goals giving him 20 helpers on the year and extending his points streak to eight games.

No. 3 Star: Brandon Dubinsky, New York Rangers

Henrik Lundqvist made 31 saves and Dubinsky scored a goal and recorded an assist as the Rangers blew out the Washington Capitals 7-0. Ryan Callahan scored twice and Marc Staal and Brandon Prust each added two points in the win. Dubinsky capped off the Gordie Howe Hat Trick in the third period with an assist, but not before his fight with Alex Ovechkin:

Honorable mention: Joffrey Lupul and Brent Burns each played in their 400th NHL game.

Did you know? Vancouver last won three straight road games Nov. 14th-Dec. 3rd, 2009.

Dishonorable mention: The six goals allowed by Niklas Backstrom was the fourth time he's let in five or more goals in his past six starts ... For the second game in a row, the Oilers managed just one shot in the third period ... Washington has lost six games in a row for the first time since March 2007 ... Semyon Varlamov allowed all seven goals for his third loss in four starts.
